when designing a large or tall building remember that the wind puts a lot stress on structures. give your buildings aerodynamic shapes to decrease the stress on the structure. another reason to use the fluid style.
mechanics in architecture. add movements and abilities to designs. here is an example of a rotating tower. this is an eye opener and a real land mark.

using shapes. when designing a building, if you want to have an ultra modern look, think about what shapes you want to use. here is an example of using shapes to give a modern look. tip: don't get to fancy. keep it simple. use rectangles and lots of windows to start then use the fluid technique to finalize your building.

symmetrical building. symmetrical building style is an easy way to design a structure. an important part of designing in this way is to make sure your measurements are precise and chose your shapes wisely. if this is a building you are designing, put a lot of room on the inside. don't have tight spaces.

mixing old with new. adding modern art with older stiles can really bring a nice reformation to an old building. a beautiful sight to see and an eye opener.
use landscaping to add to your buildings and improve your design. landscaping can also be matching with your structure to give a good surrounding effect. #thinklandscape

a fluid look in your building will give it a smooth and graceful look. often times this it appealing to an audience. here it an example of fluid design. this airport design combines landscaping with structure design to add a pattern that gives this building the fluid look. to give a structure a fluid look, give it graceful curves and try to avoid sharp edges. adding landscape with patterns that go with your structure will add to the fluid look.

big news

we are designing an indoor sports complex and learn the design elements. here in Auburn Al. the city has considered facilitating an indoor sports complex complete with 2 basketball courts, 1 sand volleyball court, 2 tennis courts, 2 normal sized soccer/football fields and finally 2 small soccer/football fields. all of this indoors. as a surprise we will put in a large soccer field with a 12,000 to 15,000 stadium this will also be indoors. lets go through our process.
  1. create blue prints of design
  2. choose material
  3. get in contact of the city and have meeting with council
  4. build a Lego model of our structure (1inch scale)
  5. create a presentation for the recreational and city council
  6. have a fundraising plan
  7. do the fundraiser
  8. start building

lets make it happen

design principles - This section is about the principles of design and house designing. Principles of design are very closely related to the design elements. In other words, how good we are in applying principles of design determines how successful we are in creating and designing a good house or any piece of art in general. We will discuss the principles of design elements such as balance, gradation, harmony, contrast etc in house design. We must thoroughly understand these terms before we start designing a home.
we will have a YouTube channel soon!!!
subscribe to us and we will have new videos out soon :D

what do you think about rooftop gardens?

     session one

our first session is about the raw sketch of our structure, or the start of the structure.

  • I find that when you start with your design you should start off with going through magazines, photos and internet to look for inspirational designs and techniques to use. This gives you a wile to rely wrap your head around what you are going to include in your design.

what do you do before making your design?
