one of the most important things to think about when designing any structure are patterns.patterns can take any structure and make it more defined and better appealing to an audience. patterns come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but one thing to have in mind is to not get to complicated.this can "confuse" the audience and make it harder to understand the design.here is an example of a simplistic pattern that fits well with this structure.
suspending and type of structures on architecture can be very difficult but is an amazing addition to any bridge, building or even stadium, as shown here.think about the uses that you can have with suspended structures

think about showing your layers to the public. here is an example of a modern concept that shows layers. layers add a sense of fluid design and can stimulate the modern look in structures.
color is everything for architects. you may think about the plain colors (blue, red, purple, etc.), but think about the different types of colors to add to your structures. use matalic, gold, and bronze colors to add a good effect to your structures. #thinkshinycolors

when designing a large or tall building remember that the wind puts a lot stress on structures. give your buildings aerodynamic shapes to decrease the stress on the structure. another reason to use the fluid style.
